I Love My Terminal
I just set up my firewall "ipfw" style
I just really wish I could remember all the command lines. What I really need to get some crap computer and install FreeBSD and wail away at it. This stuff is a lot of fun! I found doing this to be the most fun I have ever had in OS X. I just thought I would share this exciting moment with you all. Thank You.
Now only if I could hack the apple menu with it ?

I could have used Brick House or Firewalk to setup my firewall and they are good programs don't get me wrong but no, I'm to cheap and I get better feeling after I'm done. Its like all the work payed off.
disclaimer: I love the terminal too, but it doesn't work for everything.

You can't "hack" the menu from the Terminal like you're thinking you can. FruitMenu is not an app that changes plists and defaults like TinkerTool, Brickhouse, and other CLI front-ends do. FruitMenu actually runs constantly as a background process that modifies how the Apple menu is accessed. Good luck figuring out how to do that with a few terminal commands and not writing a whole program from scratch...

Hmmm, he could probbaly do it by poking around with /dev/mem. Not that I'd recommend that
