For the most part to answer your questions, "no". As for the prefs, yeah, nothing really new in there at all. Some more prefs for universal access, but that's about it.
heh, ok, since these movies got posted to half the net, I've deleted them. I don't have like eight T3's connected to that site. If you missed it, and want to see the movies, contact me directly via email.
Hello I'm french and new to appleinsider's Forums. Recently a friend of mine organized a "mac os X party" with some student. Some apple's folks where here to. One of them told us that apple will release OS X 10.2 quite soon (this is not a scoop). But he was also very excited saying that all (even bondi one's) iMac users will be very pleased by seeing this new os...
I really hope he was right. apparently the improves where drastics since 6b11 or 23 (which are something like 6 months old now...)
Sorry for the bad english. and thank you all for the videos of jaguar

You know what this sounds like? You know in like rocky and bulwinkel the badguys would always dress up and have bad accents and try to trick them. Just thought I would add my 2 cents
How does the Finder feel? How does it handle especially large (1000+) items in one window, as far as scrolling and navigating is concerned? Right now it's a pain to have so many items in one folder, OS9 deals better with large folders.
I'd be surprised if it were later than Seybold SF in September at the very latest. Software is always late, but they've been putting a lot of time and energy into it for months now.
What's new in 10.1.4 by the way?

I didn't download it. I only mentioned it here, because I haven't heard anyone else talk about a version numbered 10.1.4 before. Most people seem to think that 10.2 is the next thing that'll show up in Software Update, but it doesn't look that way now.

Also, is scrolling improved, system wide?
I'm guessing that MacOS X 10.2 is a ways off. We may not get it at MWNY.
Why do I think this? Well, I just saw a downloadable file of MacOS X 10.1.4 last night on Hotline.

You can never really tell with Apple. I hope 10.2 is out this summer July/August, but there's not much I can do to help speed up that process.
What's new in 10.1.4 by the way?

I hear they took all the debugging code out, so it's much snappier.
