The Not-Official Nobody Else Has Dropped Calls Thread

This is my number one frustration with the phone. The internet is great. The GPS is great. E-mail, apps, everything....except the damn phone. I get at least 2 dropped calls per DAY running 2.1. I think it's even worse than the previous version.
Sometimes I get distorted calls, too. Everything is going fine, and then BLAMO...it sounds like aliens from Independence Day are on the line with me. Sometimes calls will not end...the light just blinks over and over ("end call") and I have to restart the phone. I get dropouts in the audio signal even when the call comes back and doesn't drop fully.
Please post your issues, workarounds and ways in which you've complained to Apple.

Bumpity bump!
Still dropping calls like the Dow Jones Industrial Average is dropping points. I'm thinking of exchanging it for another. Any experience with this? Will they give me a hard time at the Apple Store?
