Mac OS X is the smartest in the World

So, i was curious as to how other themes would look and I installed one using Themer. The XP Luna theme is the one that messed me up.

\tSo, the finder was being weird, the mouse would stall everyone once in a while (like when the mouse ball chamber got too gunky). I decided to go to Classic and change my theme back to Aqua. Done the mouse would work, yet If i chose to use the keyboard keys they application would crash.

\tSo, I decided to trash numerous essential files in OS 9, and then run the Mac OS X installer.

This installer is the most intelligent I have ever seen It installs only the files you need, leaving the others intact. I was expecting, even though I left the Users and Applications folder there, to have to go through the Set-Assistant. NOPE! Everything works perfectly, Preferences and all the bad stuff is gone mama.....THANK YOU MAC OS X, for letting fools like myself screw with you and then let yourself mend your wounds.

Anyway, I'm surprised you never noticed this before. I've been telling people about that "feature" to fix their screwed up systems since the Public Beta.

If I were you Spart, I would backup your users folder and reinstall clean.

Yeah, if you messed up privileges from / down, then LOTS of things will be seriously screwed. I suggest erasing and reinstalling.

You weren't playing in root, were you?

Reason 45102 that Apple disables the root user...
