Any reason no one is discussing this yet?

Someone might want to grab <a href="http://www.macrumors.com/images/jaguar.jpg"; target="_blank">it</a> before it goes of the server.

If that's a fake, you'd think the guy would spend a little more time on it.

For one, why the hell does it pop up like a regular window? There should be no buttons anywhere (ie. the window widgets) because the user can't click them!

Second, where is the window's shadow? I suppose he could be running ShadowKiller.

That's either a fake or Apple still has a lot of work to get done of Dock-integration of SLF.

damn, I was watching it and the moment I tried to download it, it was pulled off the server - real-time disappearing, very strange and frustrating.

Screenshot did look very promising though!!

well, I didn't notice the lack of window shadow, but the fact that the pdf icon is opaque and you can't see the yellow highlighting behind it gives it away. Also, Green? on Aqua?

Who knows. It's something pretty to look at for the next 2 days.

    And so it goes...

    I've mirrored the image:

    [snip]

    edit: It's officially a *FAKE*.

Thus, I've removed my mirror of the image.

    My 2¢ is that it's a fake.

Also, notice the top-right corner of the window/popup. It's white and squared off, a sure sign of bad Photoshopping.

Ummmm.. I first saw this picture at MacNN and the first thing I thought was that the upper right corner doesnt necessarily mean its a fake...

If you notice the wallpaper... it purple squares, it could just be over the edge of a wallpaper square...

wait a minute I'll go check...

    ...

Nope, It is Not a square...

    It is a fake...

Well, the poor Photoshopping may have been a disservice, but it was very generous of Peter Milburn of Calgary, Alberta to give us a complete list of his business ventures and their clients:

    1. Spectrum Direct Sales

(not much info on this one)

    Richmond, BC

    (not much on them)

So it seems that Apple's top-secret Jaguar build (that even major developers are not privy to) was seeded to a small-time computer consultant in Calgary. Interesting!

Why bother tooling around with these fake pictures? Seriously?

    * still green arrows - ugly in contrast to aqua

    * no window shadow

    * the triangle base of tab is not centered over the Finder icon

    * window widgets should be gone or at least disabled

    Please. Enough already.

And gah, why are there "Home," "Documents," etc folders mixed with his HDDs? Apple wouldn't create such confusion, would they? Apparently these folders reside in space and not on his HDDs.

I remember seeing that pic around a while ago. The author's intentions for it were not to be a supposed screenshot of Jaguar, but it was rather to showcase an idea that was had about supporting a function such as the one illustrated in the pic.

I could be wrong, it was a while ago, but I think this is the case...

I think you're right M3D Jack. I think I've seen it before but related to Jaguar

Does this pic mean the popup folder in Jaguar? I think it is so. What do you think? Look at the lower right bottom corner. Got it from the OSX Jaguar page on Apple.com.

I've already got folders in my Dock with popup menus just like that.

However, there's no mention of *Dock* spring-loaded popup menus.
