Bad formulation in your Kool-Aid obviously.

And I have owned up to the mistake I made in purchasing ATV. I have previously stated that I should have bought a MacMini instead.

However when I bought into AppleTV there was a potential factor there which Steve mentioned. I never would have bought it if I knew that that potential was for it to be an iTune di$ital jukebox. If I'd know I was buying into a future rental /purchasing machine it would have been a dead deal.

    OK_ GOT IT?

And here, we always thought you were bitter.

Actually, sending a picture "by telephone" is kind of a 20th century thing isn't it?

By that logic all cars should have a hitching post at the front for horses.

de la Vega, hate to break it to you but...

    AT&T is not Apple!

Get your own technology to work and open the doors to new possibilities and stop getting in the way with your bloated pontificating.

Then maybe, you will be liked again. Honestly, people only tolerate your pretentious customer service and 90's technological offerings because of the iPhone. Do not think you had any role in it.

This new technology of the future stuff is great, but how about some CURRENT technology NOW!

Now, now, now, apparently coffee is more important!

    Let's get our priorities straight!

Good for you. Now will you please stop complaining about your AppleTV. We've heard it all

    from you.

More potential for the AppleTV may still be realized. Even you admitted that the last firmware update improved it.

Also consider that some iPhone users, who are complaining about

lacking features on their iPhones, also made their purchases based

partially upon the potential of the device. Your statement that you

cannot understand why they bought an iPhone that didn't do everything

they wanted in the first place is unjustifiably condescending. Their

complaints are equivalent to your AppleTV complaints.

Yes and FAXes. Everybody uses faxes.

Oh and smoke signals. The iPhone should produce smoke signals too!

Anybody else still using cuneiform on clay tablets? Anyone?

How are we going to communicate with the Sumerians?

I like how when one person said that, four other people followed up with the exact same idea, just worded slightly differently. (sorry for picking your quote in particular, shelby)

It's annoying that the iphone doesn't have these capabilities.

Even more annoying is listen people complaining about it relentlessly.

Everyone realizes it does no good to complain in this forum, right? Apple doesn't go to rumor sites to gather customer feedback.

    * Many people actually prefer making their own coffe ...

The rest of the predictions - well translationen, remote controlling or whatever isn't just something that would be unique for an iPhone. And those "predictions" - I think we have heard them around 1 million times before

When do I get to have my refrigerator tell me it's low on food?

Gawd if that is their idea of a future they've got real dull, simple minds. I can make my own goddamn coffee and fill my own 'fridge, change my own lightbulbs, etc.

Well, yeah! What did you think he meant? That you'd have to get a new Wifi or 3G enabled coffee maker with all the syncing and connecting problems that would entail? What he meant was that you can program your iPhone to text you assistant (or your wife for that matter - that way you don't have to roll over and push her out of bed) so he or she can press the button on your espresso machine so the coffee is just right when you arrive. Oh, and put the cup underneath the spout. Phew, I nearly forgot. But then I'm no where near as smart as those ATT wizzards.

Aren't these the same Guys that blocked all the Alt.binaries groups (to stop child porn, yeah right to cut $$ on bandwidth.) and are getting ready to put a cap on our internet use? But the want to shove info onto iPhone! How long before they put limits on how much data you can use on your iPhone!!! \

The future? The iPhone telling your coffee maker to make coffee? Doesn't this moron already own a coffee maker with a built-in wake timer to make coffee before you wake up? I don't need my phone to make coffee.

Maybe a maker of expensive coffee makers needs to make a viral video series: "Does it Brew?"

MMS and email... 2 entirely different things here.

Just what I need, an even cheaper coffee maker with a built-in wifi node, embedded SoC and more just so I can walk twenty feet and note that I don't have coffee or that it's done.

Coffee machines are now almost exclusively Pieces of S***.
