I am definitely excited about the possibilities that Rendezvous present. It will bring the simplicity back to Mac networking. And, Apple is proposing this as an industry standard.
What do you think the odds are that this will catch on?
I don't see any real down sides to this. But my gut tells me that the hoards of M$ drones will see this as a threat since it would reduce the need for network admins.
Jagwire = built-in P2P filesharing. It's like they bought the Gnutella network and made it standard on all Macs. It's going to be a golden age of piracy among Mac users!
