Viewing my MBP on a TV? What do I need?

I want to be able to watch my iTunes movies on my TV using my new MacBook Pro. What cable / cables do I need to buy? Looking for official apple ones or cheaper 3rd party ones if they are good, unless the apple ones are not that much more expensive.

    I'm actually planning on using an original mbp to power my home theater - coupled with an AppleTV.



    I've got mine connected using dvi to vga - but I'm looking at an DVI > HDMI cable soon.. which I think is the best way to do this.
