Pretty unlikely IMO. Nothing significant if there is. At the absolute best, I would say a bump in the memory capacity. Right now they are focusing on software improvements so I'd be expecting maybe a 2.3 firmware announcement.

Version 3 on the other hand will likely arrive with an upgraded model in the Summer with major enhancements that went into Snow Leopard

If you don't need the phone right tomorrow, you can always wait an see if Apple has a surprise up their sleeves which get's revealed in SF.

I just got the 16 Gigabyte.

hey it's not like that is a small amount of memory. I have a LARGE music library, added podcastts, and STILL have almost 8 gigs for third party apps.

    IMHO get it now.

I waited and waited and SUFFERED with a Palm treo.

HINT: Buy David Pogue's book, "iPhone thew missing ,manual". It is an excellent guide to the iPhone itslef, plus thrid party apps.

And I thought of it this way.

    Is 16 gigabytes SMALL?

HEY, my first external Hard Drive was ten MEGAbytes!

    This handheld has 16 GIGABYTES!

I think as long as you get the 16 gig model you'll be fine.

    s this looking likely?
