can't minimize windows - HELP PLEASE!

there are times that the yellow "minimize" button and the Minimize command under the Windows menu are grayed out. i am unable to minimize the window at that time. neither double-clicking the Title Bar or pressing Command-M work as well.



it happens under multiple apps and is intermittent. i've realized it has something to do with me running VMWare Fusion under Spaces in full screen (not sure if it is the Spaces, the Fusion, or the full screen that is the culprit specifically though).



please help!

    The same thing used to happen to me. I ended up having to restart the application. That usually fixed it. But it really hasn't happened to me in a good while.



    It might have been fixed in a past update. Have you installed the latest update?

    that's what i have to do...restart the app. it's a pain.



    i am runing 10.5.6 so i'm up to date.
