There is at least 1 good pinball app on the iPhone-- a pachinko app could have comparable appeal!

For those unfamiliar with pachinko, it is kind of a vertical, mechanical, gravity-fed, pinball machine. There is no video on the older machines-- just (battery-driven) lights that flash when a ball drops into a jackpot target (gate, spinner, etc.). The excitement comes when you have many balls in play-- balls bouncing, spinners whirling, gates opening/closing, hitting jackpots, lights flashing, bells ringing while dropping free balls for jackpots, noise from balls feeding from reservoir into play... You get a rhythm going and there is nothing quite like the sound or the experience!

Your wish has been answered! We have created a circa 70's pachinko game for the iPhone and iPod Touch the emulates the original mechanical machines almost to perfection! While the graphics (theme) were invented by us, all the game sounds were sampled directly from my 1976 machine. The basic layout is true to the old machines. We also opted for the manual lever to shoot the balls because we thought it was way more enjoyable.

Please let us know what you think?

    Cheers,

    Adam.

I know someone who is considering buying an iPhone. This will tip him over for certain.

He's had several arcade Pachinko machines starting from the late '70's!
