I'm looking to upgrade my MPB 17 2.33 GHz model with one of the new 2.5 SATA 320G 7200 RPM drives from either Hitachi, Seagate or Western Digital.

Anyone out there have one installed? Likes or dislikes? Any end user info would be greatly appreciated.

I"ve tried all 3... the one I kept was the Hitachi. The others are just too loud and vibrate the palm rest.

I put the Western Digital in my new MacBook2.4 at Christmas and hear no noise or have any vibration.

    Works great.

Installed 7200 Segate Momentus's in a 2.4 and a 2.53 unibody MBP. No vibration issues at all for me.

    I just installed a Seagate 320GB 7,200rpm

on my Unibody 2.53 and it made a noticeable difference.

Not a single vibration situation so far.
