QuickTime Streaming Server demo
I've been playing with QTSS 4.1 and I think it's the greatest thing ever...especially with instant-on streaming.
Here's a sample that requires QuickTime 6:
<a href="http://www.eugenechan.com/~ceugene/centralpark.mov" target="_blank">http://www.eugenechan.com/~ceugene/centralpark.mov</a>
I can only handle 3 connections at once on my crapp 128 kbit upstream cable connection though. So if it starts breaking up it's because 4+ people are connected...or I'm downloading pr0n.
The stream is 32 kbit/s at 32 KHz (I couldn't figure out how to make them 22.05 KHz) Mono 16-bit AAC audio.
EDIT: <a href="http://www.eugenechan.com/~ceugene/potpourri.mov" target="_blank">http://www.eugenechan.com/~ceugene/potpourri.mov</a> 282 assorted songs.

<strong>Those are some sweet tunes, [Eugene]. I am quite impressed by the quality at 32 kbit/s. I assume you're using AAC for that?</strong><hr></blockquote>
Yeah, AAC, I was suprised at the drop off in quality from 48 to 32 kbit though, both at 32 KHz. I was hoping for a way to notch the 32 kbit files to a sample rate of 22.05 KHz, but Cleaner seems to hat AAC audio and QT Pro won't let me do it through the Player export option.
thanks
