I have noticed that in general it is pretty good but it all depends who you get when you call, sometimes you get a guy who really just seems like he wants to go home.

Well i comapare it to other companys i love apple, you can tell them the problem, and they will agree theres a problem and replace it on the phone and stuff. Un like a harddrive company i have to return a harddrive to i have to pay for shipping there, and i had to get some stupid RMA number.

Generally nice people, but they don't know very much---frequently I find, I end up up doing

more explaining to them then getting my questions answered---it depends on who you get

OTOH, although it's kind of hit and miss, the service at Apple Stores can be nothing short of dumbfounding.

I and a lot of people I know have had the experience of taking an out of warranty item in, have a genius give it a quick go over, and be handed a new replacement, no questions asked.

I've been happy with it for the most part, but some of the employees quite obviously don't know what they're talking about when it comes to computers in general. One time I was told that a superdrive replacement was a 2-week repair. Specialists telling people that Macs cannot get any sort of Windows malware. Things like that.

If the superdrive wasn't in stock and had to be ordered, it could wind up being a two week repair.

Strictly speaking, Mac cannot get any sort of "Windows" malware.
