After installing Jaguar boot up onto you OSX CD and run the disk utility and repair the permissions. You will be suprised how many errors seem to exist!

This seems to cure a lot of problems with application although I had to re-install to apps concerned. I tried re-installing them before using the disk utility and they wouldn't work, after running the utility the problems went away!

1/2 the machines had a clean install the other 1/2 had the upgrade. I cannot find any performance difference, although others are reporting speed improvements using clean install.

Both methods produced errors which were corrected using disk repair utility.
