I made a boot image useing the jaguar apple i found to replace the grey apple. If anyone wants the bootx i made here is the link <a href="http://homepage.mac.com/nfrank/BootX.jaguarapple.zip"; target="_blank">BootX file</a>

Install at your own risk Worked fine on my computer but don't blame me if it does't work. And follow the <a href="http://www.ryandesign.com/jagboot/"; target="_blank">Directions</a> on installing the bootx.

The Apple itself looks fine, but it seems to mess witht he rest of the boot screen. The throbber is wacked out...

Someone make a Windows XP logo.

Could those folks who have tried this let us know how it goes and (for those of us a little scared to tinker) how to avoid screwing up our system.

Also, a little OT, but does anyone know where the login panel PDF is?

But I wanna be able to change the background color too!

AND the little spinner if possible - I'd be happy to create my own.

Yeah i thinks its because i changed the color table in the bootx. Anyone know what controls the background color?
