iPhone won't check for software

My iPhone won't check for new software. Does anyone know how to get it to check another way than using the check for new software button in iTunes? It keeps telling me that I have the latest software, 2.1.2.

    same here.



    maybe you have to wait until [whatever time], PDT to get the update?



    edit: well, it's not that the phone *won't* check for software.... it's that the 3.0 update isn't available yet. I've read several reports that it won't be available until 1pm EDT

    My one was checking but stopped a little while ago, it just passed midnight in Australia where it is due on the 18th, which is now.



    Maybe they are getting ready.



    I heard 6pm GMT, just under three hours away.

    ok.



    in the meantime... what's the best Twitter app for my iPhone (no joke!)... when I do a search in the app store, i get a bunch of weird results.... is there a *legit* twitter app??

    I believe, Twitterrific is the best.

    I suggest edub should download both and then choose what suits needs best
