Can someone tell me how to activate all the .menu's that come preinstalled on my mac. I'v seen computers with an eject icon up there and a print center icon,

Thanks

Simply double-click one or drag its icon to the menu bar.

These are all of Apple's current .menus:

    /Applications/AppleScript/Script Menu.menu

    /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access.app/Contents/Resources/Keychain.menu.app/Contents/Resources/MMExtra.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/AirPort.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Battery.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Bluetooth.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Clock.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/CPU.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Displays.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Eject.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/iChat.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/IrDA.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/PCCard.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/PPP.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/PPPoE.menu

    /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/Volume.menu

The CPU one is only available if you've installed the CHUD tools.

Any others you see are probably not .menus, but rather status menu apps (such as Meteorologist and Net Monitor).

Hey, what gives? I don't have an eject .menu item... and I want one!
