I have the 1Gen and I was wondering if anybody with one talked

to At & t about upgrade pricing. I did but the answer was I'm not

sure but I guess you have to wait. I don't care but I was

wondering what other people were told. Thanks

You have a 2G? I got the 199/299 pricing... since I didn't sign a contract with mine. I didn't think any of them came with a contract, and if it's been two years you should definitely be in the clear, if some 3G owners are getting the subsidy from AT&T... I bought mine through the Apple store for $499 (the 16GB) when it came out Feb 2008.

It has been a fantastic upgrade. Here are a couple videos I uploaded.

Thanks, I do have a 2g. You would think I could get a

3gs but the guy I talked to said I had to wait till March. I'm sure

I could argue and win but my wife needs a new phone

before me and she's not out of contract till March.

You should go on the Apple website and see what they say you are eligible for. Pretend to be buying a new phone and you will see what you can get. I think AT&T is full of sh!t since the 2G iPhones did not have AT&T subsidy (to my knowledge, or it was much less.) I got my 2G in Feb 2008 and got the full discount in June 2009. If you can get it for the price you want on the Apple site, just order it there.

Just call *639# and you'll see if you're eligible.

I bet anything you are. The 2G wasn't subsidized.

The AT&T website also tells if you're eligible. Just login and view your account...
