This is not a solution.
1) The update literature says nothing about this problem only manifesting itself during the burn process. I think I remember reading about the possibility that merely reading the disc could cause the problem too.
2) The update adds the ability to eject copy-protected audio CDs in addition to fixing the DVD-R issue.
