issues with Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter

I have a couple end users who have the newer MBP's with 30" monitors using the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter. A number of them are experiencing issues with small, roughly 1" long by 1 pixel high, horizontal lines that flash intermittently. Has anyone else experienced this? Know of a solution?

    Not really unless Apple releases some patches. Mini-DP's adapter support has been a bit flaky since the beginning. Some displays work fine, others have problems. It all seems to be luck of the draw.

    New problem created! Need a 30" monitor but only have a 24" monitor.
