I have the previous version (bubble base) iMac and I can't get it to go into sleep mode... I've got it set to go to sleep after 15 minute and it used to do that but recently it's not going to sleep at all ...no mater how long...Any ideas ??

Gracias

What's a "bubble base" iMac? Are you referring to the G4 iMac?

Have you installed any software recently?

Do you have Sleep Display set for one of the corners in your Expose panel?

Can you not force it to go to sleep that way?

I've had four Macs(G3 iBook, G5 iMac, Core Duo iBook, Core2Duo iBook) and with the exception of my G3 iBook, none have slept well. The worst offender being the CDiBook. Never found a reason why??

Uninstall MS Office and reboot. That should take care of the problem.
