Syncing folders

We got a new iMac for Chistmas. Now, I have 2 accounts, one on my iBook, and one on the iMac. Is there a way to keep the two user folders exactly the same. Meaning, if i change something on one user folder, it updates on the other on the other machine. They're both connected to an Airport, the iMac by ethernet, and the iBook wirelessly.

I suggest synching only the documents folder. If you synchronize your ~/Library you may end up messing with privileges. But I'm not completely sure about this. Try this software to do your synching:

    <a href="http://www.macupdate.com/search.php?keywords=synk&button.x=12&button.y=17"; target="_blank">Synk 4.0.1</a>

There are lot of other synching tools, but Synk is not only free, I just works perfectly. Among shareware my absolute favorite.

You could try <a href="http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html"; target="_blank">Carbon Copy Cloner</a>. It has a sync feature in the prefernces sheet, but you might have to erase your home folder on one of the machines, the use CCC to copy the other, checking the Sync part of the sheet.

If that sounds confusing, I don't get it either.

iSync might work, but I don't use it.

No, iSync only syncs devices, and somthin over .Mac, not folders or machines.
