It looks like a piece of the original wrapper.
It's a bit hard to tell, but it looks like is, a better picture would have been more face-on. It seems to me that the White iPhone should have had a white face, a white wallpaper background would have been a welcome bonus. The black/white motif seems a little disjointed.
