When I tried to open a program for the 1st time in SL, It asked me if I wanted to install Rosetta...Is there any harm in this and exactly what is it? Thanks from a newbie.

    Rosetta is the part of the OS that translates PPC code to Intel in real-time.

    Thanks...btw..Is there any way to download it besides waiting for an older program requiring it?

    You could just install it off the Snow Leopard disc.
