Where are the Finder's TIFF resources?

in macOS edited January 2014
I have been searching my HD for a month, and I still can not locate the red, yellow, and green dots that appear on every window in Mac OS X, or the pulsing blue buttons in save dialogue boxes. I kinda want to edit the resource TIFF files in photoshop to, say, make all pulsing buttons appear red. I had no trouble locating iChat's resources, and I even succeeded in making the iChat Dock icon appear upside-down. But I cannot for the life of me find those close, minimize, and maximize buttons...Any help to aid me in my hunt for the aqua resources would be appreciated.

I'm afraid it's a bit more complicated than just replacing TIFFs. I don't have time to go through explaining a whole tutorial on editing pxm# resources, but here's the file you want:

    /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/ HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/Extras.rsrc

(that's all one line but I broke it so the page would wrap properly)
