Services -- am I missing something?

Hey, I know its been a while, but I have just discovered services and am using them a lot, especially the Mail 'send file' service to email a file.

But, shouldn't it be possible to command-click on a file and services are part of the pop-up menu?

I think the reason its taken me so long to use them is because they are hidden up in the Apple menu. If I want to perform a 'service' on a file on my 22" monitor, I have a lot of mouse movement to do...

I think it would be neat if they where in a contextual menu item

developers would also make more use of them, and be really innovative

or, there could be a way to write your own services if you wanted...

The context menu things is a great idea (and I think I submitted this as a suggestion to Apple's "feedback" page already).

Developers can write their own services, however, not sure if Apple has expanded the services devel, opment capabilities to things like AppleScript or not to make it even easier.

imagine you could save/convert your applescript file to a service (and all the benfits a service has). that would be seriously cool...

sorry, its a slow day today work wise!
