Basically, it states that a joint venture between Sanyo and Kodak will introduce super-thin OLED screens next month. Perfect for long lasting portables, PDAs, and tablets, dont you think? Actually, it just looks like smaller displays are becoming available now, with laptop sized screens available at the end of the year. Still sounds good for a PDA, though.

Those dates are for competing ventures. Kodak and Sanyo will introduce screens in a month.

Didn't you read the BIG BOLD paragraph right at the top... It's what began the story after all...

"TOKYO--A venture between Sanyo Electric and Eastman Kodak will get a jump on rivals when it starts making a new type of ultrathin display screen next month. But its top executive is bracing for intense competition. "

    or to make it easier...

"when it starts making a new type of ultrathin display screen next month."

    or how bout this...

    "ultrathin display screen next month."

    Better?

    Dave
