MacBook vs MacBook Pro: What is the point?

I have 2 macbooks, and i want to get a 3rd laptop, for my sister actually.

I was wondering, should i go the new MacBook, or the entry level Pro?

The pro doesn't makes sense to me:

MACBOOK

2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB DDR3 memory

250GB hard drive

8x double-layer SuperDrive

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

Built-in 7-hour battery

Polycarbonate unibody enclosure

MACBOOK PRO

2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

2GB Memory DDR3

160GB hard drive

SD card slot

Built-in 7-hour battery

NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

Aluminium Unibody Enclosure

So, by paying 100 dollars more, i LOOSE 90GB of the HDD, and gain aluminium an an SD reader? Is that so?

Is it worth it the aluminium enclosure?

Thanks.

EDIT: reading some other post, it looks like i loose:

    - Backlit Keyboard

    - SD Card Slot

    - Firewire Port

    - IR receiver

    - Battery indicator

    - Aluminium Body

    - 8GB Max on memory (I suspect the Macbook has a max of 4GB RAM)

Is that right? The only important things here for me could be the 8GB of mem, and the backlit kb.

I've been wondering the same for several months. Now with the loss of Firewire in the new MacBook, the Pro seems a little better.

If I find a great deal on a leftover MacBook with Firewire, I might get one before it's too late. Otherwise I might go for the Pro, which I think looks a little nicer than the new all-gloss MacBook. Resale value in a couple of years might be much better for the MBP.

Go look at engadget's review of the new MB, and notice how easily it's soft plastic gets scratched and dinged up (after like a day of use), that along with the SD reader make the MBP worth the extra $200.

That's terrible plastics used for the exterior, it might be built like a tank, but it can't seem to handle any sort of gentle movement.
