  These prices are not discounts from the Student Edition prices. They are more expensive than the regular price for student editions!
  
  The CS4 Design Premium Edition is normally $389 at education resellers and the CS4 Design Standard is normally $289. For an example visit Creation Engine at http://www.creationengine.com/html/studenteditions.html
  
  This has been the price for quite some time at Creation Engine.
  
  Adobe is offering the CS4 Design Premium Suite through their education store for $399.
  
  
  
  78% off of original price to result in $403.99 would mean the original price was $1836.32. The regular retail (not student edition) sells for $1799. The student edition has always been less than $600 at Adobe's store.
  
  
  
  This looks like deceptive advertising made to AppleInsider by Amazon. AppleInsider is then innocently but incorrectly reporting this as news. Can you please check the info for yourselves and then publish a retraction ASAP if you are satisfied that the error occurred?

  I believe iWork '09 is $49, and Bento 3 is $31.

  I went to Amazon to purchase Parallels Desktop 5.0 using the AI link and it shows the software as $58, not $44 as stated. Bummer.
