Arg. just came back from Handel's Messiah in Hartford. I thought it woudl be uplifting. Skulldrop boring, it was.

Creed & Matchbox 20 are two of the most tedious bands I have ever had the misfortune of hearing. They represent all that is wrong with popular music today. Self-absorbed, trite, and utterly banal lyrics complemented by uninspired instrumentals and topped off by the sickening sheen of corporate cool.

Seriously, who is more annoying, Rob Thomas or Scott Stapp? What a bunch of tools. I think this discussion deserves a thread all its own.

Oh, yeah, the Eagles suck too. Just not as bad as these two. As the Dude says, "Man, I had a bad day, and I hate the ****in' Eagles."

I did. It's very good. It took forever to get released here, though. I downloaded the whole thing via Aimster months ago.

I'm also really enjoying the Traveling Wilburys right now. George Harrison death's got me remembering what great stuff they did. I'm also digging on a couple of Beatles songs too: Hey Jude and Oh Darling.
