MacBook making funny noises :(
My mac OS x macbook has recently started making funny noises on the right side right under where my palm is (right side if im facing to type it). it did this before about a year ago after i dropped if off my bed that was about three feet high but it stopped. now i'm worried because it's back again. has anyone had this problem before? should i just wait it out again or go to the genius bar? and if so, how much does that cost?

Backup your computer, then make a reservation to see a Genius. They'll give you an estimate before they fix anything
Also, I can't remember between models, on where the hadd drives are placed, but it may be just that? Ditto on backing up...if you can get it diagnosed for free, by all means. The hard drive would probably be fairly easy to replace yourself if you have the time to do it.
