I think I'm really going to try to do that, maybe. Sell my iBook and buy something new. Or maybe I'll keep my iBook for now and start with something else so I always have a good Mac.

I've already started mine a few weeks ago. I'm going to stop swearing. That's right, no *F* word(!) So far I've had a few relapses but I'm working on it!!

Corvette - you know what's funny, your New Year's resolution is usually my birthday wish every single year since I was old enough to be interested in girls. I just had my birthday a few days ago and for once in my life, I made a different wish!

PS: Murbot should have a shrine so that we could all worship his AAA (Apple Acquisition Aptitude)

Hmm. I think I'll try that out as well.

Of course, reading a forum where people swear left and right doesn't help any.

    A few:

    1. Lose 20 pounds (maybe more...I don't know what 20 pounds looks like until I'm there).

    2. Get a new iMac (or an iBook, if this new iMac doesn't look the way I want it to or have the features I'm expecting)

    3. Finish my guitar

    4. Pursue more freelance work (logo design and illustration)

    5. Go under the ink and get my design finally tattooed onto me (yikes...I don't see this one happening...yet again!)

    6. Encounter and trap a live rattlesnake and possibly touch it (with his head secured, of course). I have to get over this fear somehow.

    7. Try to be a better, nicer person to those I care about than I was last year, even though I was a pretty swell guy all-in-all in 2001. But I want to be even "sweller"!

For some reason I think this is one resolution that won't be kept. Can EmAn get to 10,000 posts by this time next year? Go, EmAn, go!

    "Way up in Nanuet,

    Up in New York State,

Way back up in the city

    among the big build-ings

    There stood an ibook

    made of chips and wires

    where it was used

by a guy named EmAn, oh so good

    He never ever learned

to read or write so well,

but he could post on AI

just like he's was ringin' a bell

    GO GO!

    Go EmAn, GO, GO!

    1) Gain 30 pounds. (just lost 15 during the exams. Not exacly healthy)

    2) Gain more control over my money.

    3) Deside what I really want AND DO IT: Continue studying right after my BA this summer or take a year off to work and travel .

    4) ***Restricted resolution***

    No nessesarily in that order

    1) gain 20 pounds and bulk up.

    2) secure female companionhip (casual or anything)

    3) keep a normal sleep schedule

    4) spend less money

    5) stop licking my lips

    6) spend more time with my dogs

    7) participate in an extreme activity (other than blasting down a loose, windy fire-road at ~30 MPH)

    1152 x 864.

1280 X 1024 @75hz on a 17" CRT was just too much for my crappy eyesight. Now the refresh is higher too!

    Aw shucks, I'm blushing!

Actually, I know it's more of a "I wish I could swap Macs at the drop of a hat without losing a dime" thing than a "damn that murbot is a great looking and funny guy, I wish I were him" thing....

    LOL! That's hilarious man...

It is an addiction guys, and I need help....

    My New Year's Resolutions:

    1. Get good use of my YMCA membership and get myself back into great shape this year. (I am not going to bother with numbers)

    2. Get off my ass and get my website off the ground.

    3. Keep a Mac for more than 2 months. (hey, I have to start small and work up...)

    4. Work hard on my golf game and finally get down to a single digit handicap. (sooo close last year)

    5. Try to come up with some better resolutions before Jan 1.

    1. Bench my body weight

    2. Gain as little as weight as possible (in order for #1 to work)

    3. Stop biting my lips

    4. Improve sleeping habits (I'm on a fast downward spiral...getting 6 hours of sleep in middle school is not good...my sister never sleeps as a senior and I'm freaked out enough to try real hard to get to bed at 10PM)

    5. Learn to do something useful with my Mac other than games (unlikely)
