They have a one-page billboard saying their offline and linking to (most importantly) A) the liquidation sale at their merchandise store, B) investment opportunities, and C) "Why?".

Why didn't anyone tell me about this! They were so cool!

They've been gone for a few weeks now. They had no source of revenue: ads? subscriptions?

oh well... for some reason their servers were always slow as hell for me (and I'm on cable!). It is too bad to see another good site go down.

I guess I just need to get a girlfriend and get married so I can find out for myself. YEAH! <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

Any *single* pretty ladies between 18-23 here? I figure, if you like Macs, you've already got something going for you.

    I posted this weeks ago.

The Internet should never have been "free". Now all that's left are 404 Not Founds and commercial and corporate fodder.

Of course there still is AI...whoopie.

The problem with the internet is that it has gotten lost. Back in the days of newsboards and text web sites, when it was a giant library of information, and the biggest issues discussed were wether Pickard was better than Kirk, that was when the internet thrived. The problem is that people tried to make money off of it, which isnt what its about, its about a hobby, about getting your message out there. 'course bandwidth isnt free, but theres always ways around that.

    wow Ive gone off topic.

Tears to adcritic, they were one of the best sites out there.
