With Woz as a board member, this has some possiblilities, but it sure seems like its too early for Steve to be able to do anything with this even as a mockup.
They are being run by some pretty bright people, and the design is surprisingly rugged and modular, although the screen size seems small, but make it look more iPod-like and you got another spoke off the hub!!!

i think the cellphone/web-surfing, email-reading pda kind of device, if done properly, could be a major win for apple, but is the hip that device? for a good cellphone, you'd need trimode or better. for the PDA you'd need a high quality, high contrast screen that's large enough to be easy to work with. for all the web-enabled stuff, you'd need good national coverage and preferably a webbrowser that doesn't need every website reformatted and pushed by a custom service. the question is, can apple deliver that at a reasonably pricepoint? in trying to be everything, will it be anything? i just don't know..

Forget Danger. Pogo is a much better example and is now shipping in the UK. This baby really is a killer!
Expensive on-line fees though.
