Olympic's coverage

I thought the coverage was supposed to be different this year; more sports and no golden light mini drama with the sickening sacchrine music and slow motion shots . . .

I can't watch AGAIN this year because these manipulative mini docu-dramas ruin what little they end up showing . . .

CANT WE JUST GET THE SPORTS!!!?!?!?!?!!

My sentiments almost exactly. I believe that the occasional documentary is useful, but they have to be 10 seeconds or less. Or pick some arbitrary small number. None of this minute-long hoohah. We WANT TO WATCH THE FIGURE SKATERS, NOT HOW THEIR FATHERS ABUSED THEM!

I haven't been sitting down to watch. By that I mean planning my TeeVee watching around it. But everytime I flip past NBC there doesn't seem to be any sports on. Yesterday afternoon they had the Chicago Auto Show on. WTF? Where are the events?

Here's a list of events today. Let's hope they wind up on TeeVee.

Why can't they have MORE THAN ONE CHANNEL have coverage? If NBC is unwilling to show live coverage why not let ESPN do it?

I wached all of NBC's coverage yesterday switching back and forth with the main NBC feed then the hockey on CNBC and the all-star saturday night on TNT,

Why the hell is everything taped? Show the stuff during the day. I don't want to see it taped. And its way overproduced. The Olympics serve themselves. They don't need to overproduce them to get attention. <img src="graemlins/oyvey.gif" border="0" alt="[No]" />

and Scott, NBC is not the only channel. CNBC had all the hockey preliminary games on yesterday live starting at 6 and ending at 12.

CNBC will show about equal amount of footage as NBC.
