Valentine's Day 2002: What are you planning or what was done for you?

I personally will be celebrating my 6th "Singles Awareness Day" in a row alone, thank you.

But hopefully you're having better luck. What do you plan on doing for your special one, or what will be/has been done for you?

And please, no "Valentine's Day is too overcommercialized" type posts. We know it is, but many still celebrate it; and I'd like to find out here how our AI cohorts will be honoring the day.

EDIT: Added "in a row" to clarify.

Sorry. Feel with you. I´m doing the same (although not the 6th). I will have some friends over for lunch but it has nothing to do with Valentine (or rather: you never know

I am sorry for you Scott, Italians and french people have many common roots !

Are you kidding? The Italians had to run down that long boot shaped peninsula to get away

And the Germans had to go to Germany to get a way. The Dutch would rather live on the bottom of a drained lake than in France

Great place. I got to meet some of the people there once. They did some work I didn't think was possible.

Damn, came in here looking for some ideas. It's me and my b/f's third valentines day together, and while I classify it as a worthless "hallmark holiday" through and through, I still like to do something special every year, unfortunately, I'm plum out of ideas this time 'round. I do have something big planned for our anniversary in a month, though.

any ideas, or things you've done in the past? please, a little help...

    ciao,

    michael

Well the most important thing is to remember that there is a valentine days tomorrow. The important is to do something special for these day, but there is no need to do magical event.

for me , i think i must find some flowers for my wife, or she'll get angry ...

Sweetest Day is 100% useless. It's a total fabrication. At least there was a Saint Valentine.

Horrible? It's a perfeclty natural act which one should carry out as much as one possibly can. Like twice a day

A lovely suggestion, and I should think that anyone with a sense for the romantic would enjoy that, not just us queers. though he doesn't drink, and I don't like champagne anyway.
