Why so long to delete spam/advertising posts?

Just a suggestion, but perhaps the global mods could get together and schedule time to browse the forums and sticky threads once a day to delete the unnecessary posts?

They get flushed at most every 24 hours. Reported spam is pretty much always removed quicker than that.

Here's one been around awhile, didn't report it but it's been missed.

Perhaps the problem is the signature and the user post count isn't included in the mods version of the post reviews?

Then there are some (deleted) posts in the Sticky here

If you report it though, it won't be missed.

Those aren't spam posts, the user just deleted some of his own posts.

I keep reporting spam in general discussion that doesn't get removed.

The only time it seems to get removed is if the spammer posts in another forum and the mod removes the user.

We have different ways of checking. I usually find spammers when browsing the forums, others check their email notifications. They get removed daily either way.

Sorry about that, must have missed the report somehow. It's gone now and another that was lying around. The reports usually do get checked and dealt with so keep reporting it until it's gone. Your efforts are appreciated.
