Piercings. Who has 'em?

I got my tongue pierced a couple of weeks ago and I can finally talk properly again. I'm now thinking of getting a small bar in my eyebrow.

Does anyone else around here have any piercings and where?

Uh, no. Personal preference I guess. I went out with a girl who had a pierced tongue and her mouth smelled like a battery...so keep it clean...

    Sorry, had to ask

I had the same thought. I've heard people say it improves sex. It just seems like (trying to phrase this) the feel of the tongue alone would be better than the feel of metal. Or is it just me?

I have none but I do have a small silver ear cuff.

I find it odd that I don't have any, I make jewelry as a hobby and you think I'd have something done by now.

I do however wear a lot of silver on my fingers.

Normally I have anywhere from 3-7 rings on at a time... 90% of them are made by me.

Maybe I could go out and do a small survey and get back to you on this one?

This whole piercing thing has been quite cool, it wasn't that painful getting it done and I was pleased with it afterwards but now I keep catching the bar in my teeth!! It's REALLY painful

I had a girlfriend about two years ago who had a piecing in her tongue. And yes a blowjob is greater at least I thougt - it gives this extra thing to it when you feel the piecing.....

I had my tongue pierced for a little over 3 years and this was a problem for me at first to, the good news is that once it has fully healed (I gave mine a month to be sure) you can get a shorter tongue ring. When you first get it done they use a longer one because your tongue will swell.

I just took mine out about 2 weeks ago (to the annoyance of my wife) for no reason other than I just didn?t feel like having it pierced anymore.

Yeah, I can get mine changed soon. My tongue hasn't swollen too badly, the guy who pierced it said it wouldn't because I have a "great tongue". Hmm thanks

That's the great thing about a tongue piercing, it takes only a short time to heal up if you decide to get rid off it, unlike say an eyebrow piercing which will leave a scar.

Just an innocent question, maybe I've missed the answer:

    Are you homosexual?

Have to admit that I am a little suprised to find this out half an hour after I find out that you are a staunch Tory - they dont usually go together!

    Still,

I'm not bothered - just be careful that you don't swallow your stud - my friend did

Yeah I am. Not a "shout it from the roof tops" type though

I'm not a "shout it from the rooftops" heterosexual, either, we will get along well.

I only ask because it seems that in my area nearly all the homosexual men that I know (and there are quite a few here at UT-Austin) have tongue piercings and I don't know any heterosexual men with them.

I see. Quite a few straight guys I know have them but also a few gay guys as well. It's just a fashion thing over here just now I think.

That's funny because when I got mine done (I was still in school) a lot of people I knew started wondering if I was gay. I got tired of answerign why I got it done ("because I wanted to" didn't seem good enough) I just started telling them it was so I could suck better

This is off topic I know but here's my favorite ring I have... don't wear it too much... mainly when I'm not doing anything physical outside.

(P.S. - is it still sort of in style for guys to have earings? I had this urge to get my ears pierced but don't know if it's still sort of "in")
