heres one that hasnt been done (or at least not in a while):

Whats your favorite music video? Any one who says anything by Britney spears or Nsync (or the clones) will get their face caved in.

Mine was In Repair by Our Lady peace, but I think that this takes the cake:

I'm currently enamored of the Chemical Brothers' Star Guitar- it's been getting some play on MTV2 and it's really a stunning set of visuals.

Watch it, and really pay attention. You'll notice that the different pieces of the landscape are perfectly synchronized with the music as they enter the screen... absolutely ingenious.

"Cracker" by Ohgr -- lots of "inside" jokes

    all time:

"A Drug Against War" by KMFDM

"Closer" by NIN (then everyone ripped it off and made it a cliche)

    "Sledgehammer" by Peter Gabriel

the unedited version of "Closer" by NIN is bad ass.

other than that..... there aren't a whole lot i've been impressed with. guess i'm just a NIN fan.

Solishu, hellbent is just <a href="http://www.ifilm.com/ifilm/product/film_info/0,3699,68390,00.html?ad_ref=top_twenty_shorts_high est_rated&cch=" target="_blank">More</a> to (IMO) worse music (this film has AWESOME music).

However, yes, More has to be the all time best short film ever.

    "Coffee and TV" - Blur

I wish I could find the video online. It was about the adventures of a tiny dancing milk carton as he roamed about the city (london I think).

"Just" by Radiohead is a great one. Does not fit the music very well, but its still great.

I don't know which one of their's (Radiohead's) I saw, but it was a weird mixture of matrix style machinery and babies. Very strange but quite good.

Guys, guys, guys...a little respect please: Duran Duran's "Girls on Film".

Hubba hubba! What a smutty feast for the eyes that was to a 13-year-old accustomed to "Sanford & Son" and "Lou Grant".

Those guys made ass kicking videos back in the day! But for pure tent-popping pleasure, it doesn't get any better than "Girls on Film".

    Naughty, naughty nurses...

More recently, I dug Sheryl Crow's "Everyday Is A Winding Road" just because she's wearing a dress in it.

Hall of Fame: the rotoscoping in Aha's "Take on Me" and the "We're Going to Tell a Story, Even if it kills us" Award to Pat Benatar's "Shadow's of the Night" and it's secret anti-Nazi spy mission, led by Pat and her rockin', guitar-slinging husband Neil.

It was the height of cinematic majesty back then. You see it now and it's the funniest, most overblown thing ever...and you'll laugh yourself sideways at the sheer balls it displayed.
