just like that kate thread, where's Finboy... well I think I know what might have happened:



I bet he got layed off from work and has realized how hard life is for those unable to pay for the basics and can't face all the people he said "all they need to do is walk across the street" to.



or maybe something else?!?!

    He was over at MacNN for a while. But I don't know if he still is.



    Also, where's the Blue Meanie?

    I know that he got his doctorate last Spring and got a job and moved over the summer.

    In Scotland, still working hard times for that local newspaper and using his new digicam. The office is so, hm, ancient, that they have had no computers, so I guess it is a bit of a lack of connectivity for him still.



    I did not see Finboy at MacNN or else.......

    Actually Kate, you're slightly out of date. I haven't been in Scotland since October 19th! But yes, I have been using my new digital camera, and decidedly groovy it is too.

    (BTW, the office in Scotland did have computers and Macs too, it's just that they were all of nine years old.... <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" /> )

    I'm here. I've been travelling the last week or so, presenting papers and doing the academic thing.



    BRussell, thanks for remembering! I DID end up moving to a new job over the summer, and I'm happily grilling my students every other day.



    What's with this "Kate" thing? I'll have to read some history on that one. I'll try to keep up.
