I have a late 2010 Macbook Pro with the Core i7 processor and Nvidia 330 GPU. I am wondering how well this game will play on it.

Anyone out there playing StarCraft II on a Macbook Pro?

I've been playing it some on my almost 2 year old 15" Macbook Pro and it runs it fine.

As much as I love to return to the halcyon days of RTS games paying that kind of money for just ONE campaign, count me out of this one. Nonetheless, enjoy..! Punch a Zerg in the nuts for me.

I have the new Macbook pro, core i7 and it runs flawlessly. I have everything cranked up to High and it runs really smooth. I wish I had a 7200 RPM drive though as the load-times are a bit high, but still not too bad.

I haven't dropped the cash on it yet. I will most likely, but the $60 for one campaign pisses me off. Then again, I never could get into playing the Zerg campaign...only the Protoss and Terran. I would think with that hardware you'd be more than fine. I have a mid 2009 MBP. I doubt it will be an issue.

It may only be 1 campaign, but it is still 26+1 very well put together missions. SC and Brood War were only about 30 missions apiece, and the first several were just tutorials. So really not much difference. The challenges and achievements are making it more fun to replay over and over again, as opposed to once through the campaign every few years.

You can easily look at it as knowing the Brood War equivalent and another follow on mission pack are still in the pipes. Yeah, I like it, can ya tell?

So it's only on race per pack, you are still getting beaucoup entertainment bang for the buck on this one. Seeing Salt in LA ran me 16 bucks for a frakkin matinee!!! (OK movie, Angelina is approaching formerly hot.) Less than 2 hours for 16 bucks not including the popcorn, I've logged in more than 10 hours on SCII for a lower cost per hour rate, and that will only still keep going down.
