Swimsuit Issues

Sports Illustrated is out with their <a href="http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/features/2002/swimsuit/"; target="_blank">annual swimsuit issue</a>. I <a href="http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/columnists/steigerwald/s_18524. html&quot; target="_blank">read today</a> <a href="http://www.maximonline.com/index.html"; target="_blank">Maxim</a> is also publishing a swimsuit issue.

When you consider that you can watch XXX porn on cable TV and view a bazillion pictures of nekkid women on the 'net (for free), swimsuit issues start to seem a little quaint.

I agree. When I was 13, SI was my porn.

Something about the way they shoot the pictures seems less sexy, too. The girls are as hot or hotter today, but I see shots from the late 80's and early 90's and go WOW!

I think maybe Ioss and crew try to be too artistic now.

This is the third year in a row I've gotten the SI Swimsuit Issue (because I've got a subscription to SI) and I still don't see what the big fuss is about. Yeah, they're hot, but like already mentioned, there's so much better stuff online

[quote] FORTIFIED with wine, the bathing beauties of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue braved grabby advertisers and a leering Enrique Iglesias at the Hammerstein Ballroom the other night.

When I was 18, most of my friends were 17. Very often I was sent into a porn video store with $20 and given instructions.

I think we watched so much porn that we got bored of it. After a bit we developed a saying: "It aint porn if there aint penetration." And I mean easily visible, in your face penetration. A while after that we all just got sick of it entirely.

Over the course of 6 months I managed to make about $100 in "Shipping and Handling." When I turn 21 this July (before most of my friends) I will undoubtedly have another round as a merchant.

I do like the swimsuit issue, though, because it has something more: nice locations and beautiful women the way you'd more likely spot them in real life -- clothed (or at least slightly clothed).

I do prefer some of the older ones, though, because I think they're less porn-ish. Plus, so many of the mega-skinny models these days just aren't that hot to me. I'm a big fan of skinny, athletic girls, but often I'm just not impressed with the models today. Physically, there are some very specific features that I'm attracted to, and today's models don't seem to have them.
