Can an iPhone 4 use the iPad microsim for the dataplan?

Can you use a 3G iPad microsim to get a iPhone 4 running with a dataplan (but no monthly phone plan). You would of course need Skype or some other VOIP service for phone calls.



It might be worth the early termination fee if it does work.

    From all the comments on this forum in favor of a data-only iPod touch 3G, wait a month and see if Steve Jobs presents such a device.



    That said, I don't know the answer to your question.
