Hmmmm.......

The Blue Meanie likes the look of those new Palm m130s and might even buy one soon to replace his ageing Palm III. However, while nosing around on the Palm site yesterday, he noticed a somewhat eyebrow-raising statement. On a page detailing the software bundled with the m130, we find:

"Note: QuickTime video clips not supported on Mac OS."

Hmmmm.........

    I can't believe this hasn't provoked a single comment - read that statement by Palm again <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

So what? QuickTime doesn´t work on Macs. Who gives a ****? Its a dying platform anyway.

How do you think that got there? I mean, it's more than a little ignorant. It'd be interesting to figure out how whoever was responsible could have such a blind spot.

Don't waste your money on this Palm. At least wait for one that packs a little more puch.

Seriously, that Palm won't hold a candle to my MessagePad 2100...it doesn't even have proper handwriting recognition! And a 25MHz CPU...pah!
