Move the iMac to the first thing. Say, "we gave you little teaser of this last night, but to really appreciate how cool it is, you have to see it in person." Switch the G5 to the "and one more thing." Or use the new digital device. That's your call. You know more about them than I. If you need more help, give me a call.

I'm thinking, Apple either gets free advertising for as long as the two companies are existing, or at least free cable internet for every Apple owner. Time had the Ginger story too. But I think that Sunday release was according to plan, to get coverage in the Monday papers and to drum up publicity for the "Good Morning America" show. Time releases news of its Person of the Year on the day before publication, too.
But this one looks like a mistake. Someone at Time Canada screwed up.
MacFixIt is reporting that the article was briefly posted on Time's U.S. site but was taken down.
The way Apple has been playing the publicity this weeks makes me think that, even if Steve didn't plan this early release/leak, he still can't be that p*ssed off about it. I mean, this just whips the frenzy that much higher doesn't it?

Stories are placed on embargo, and if the press decides to publish it, so be it. However, then they will face (in this case) the Wrath of Steve (if indeed he's annoyed), and possibly be not privileged to see information in the future.
