An Apple employee emailed me and called me a f**.

Please read my Apple story. It has been an awful, unnecessary experience. Feel free to respond with any comments. Thank You.

I remember when I purchased my first Mac. The old school, as of

today, dark blue clamshell ibook. I loved it. Years later, when it was

time to upgrade, I bought my PowerBook G4. Following the Apple "Cult"

logic, I went on to purchase iPods, and eventually the Original iPhone

a few years ago. This is when my love affair with Apple began to wane,

and eventually collapse for me. It ended with Apple's CEO Steve Jobs,

or an Apple employee impersonating Mr. Jobs, emailing me, and telling

me "Hey Lance, quit being a f**." (A homosexual insult that rhymes with "tag").

Yes, you heard me right.

I have had as of date, four iPhones. The first Original iPhone leaking

glue onto my face and burning my face. Apple replaced it with my

second Original iPhone. That iPhone developed bubbles in the layers in

the screen, (Apple partially admits to this occurring to my

knowledge), and after fighting tooth and nail after having a obviously

defective product, was given the "gift" of an upgrade to the iPhone

3GS.

Yet again, bubbles developed in the iPhone 3GS' screen. At that point

I was outraged. I wanted compensation for having (3) defective

iPhones, and being out of a phone for days while each was diagnosed,

replaced, and shipped back to me. My request for compensation may had

been lofty, as I admit. I wanted a computer for free. Apple's FIRM

answer was "No." Alright, I may be a persistent man, but I am not

unreasonable. I was more than willing to let it go, and forget about

my request.

August 25th, 2010. I get an email from Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO, or an

Apple employee impersonating Mr. Jobs, telling me to "quit being a

f**." After being more than willing to bow down to the Apple Gods, an

Apple employee decided to spout such disgusting hate speech towards

me. Now, I am sure you're asking yourself, "Lance, prove it." I can. I

have the emails, I have the proof that not only was I called a "fag",

but that this Apple employee knew what had happend with my Original

iPhone. They knew "warm, hot glue emitted" from my Original iPhone.

They knew my name, my email address, and in the subject line from this

email knew I had "An Issue", and knew I had requested a computer for

free as compensation. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure

out someone from Apple Inc. was responsible for this.

I have provided all of this information to Apple, and at this point,

DID indeed request a free computer, AND deserve it. As of today's

date, Apple will not be compensating me for what has happened to

me. They may or may not have launched an investigation, and IF they

had, I AM THE PUBLIC, and I will never be informed if anyone has been

held accountable.

What worries me especially, is that an Apple Employee used my private information (Name, email address, and my conversation with Apple Employees), with out my permission. I am sure your Privacy Policy as a company would be against such behavior. That is a clear breech of security. How can I trust Apple Inc. with ANY information with this situation happening to me? This is lunacy.

I am sharing my story with you because I am outraged. I am sickened,

saddened, and have lost hope for personal accountability.

Apple Inc. portrays itself as a "hip, trendy, in touch, caring

company". They seem to not be too caring.

With the recent influx of gay teen suicides because of cyber and non

cyber bullying, and the recent rape and torture against three gay men

in the Bronx in New York City, one would think the multi billion

dollar Apple Corporation would do the right thing.

One thing I know, when I go to bed at night I will sleep well. Can you Apple?

So do. You're wasting everyone's time otherwise.

I still don't believe you didn't immediately report it to the BBB or a media outlet. It's too nonsensical not to have done so.

    No, not really.

Lunacy is you not having taken this case to a consumer protection agency at any point in the last two months.

I have contacted several media outlets, I have contacted the BBB, and the Attorney General in my state. I do deserve compensation. Perhaps you should you work for Apple,..You'd fit right in my friend.

Planning on linking to any of these media outlets' reports on the situation or giving that proof (e-mail headers would be nice) that you said you'd give?

With all due respect, your story sounds wildly improbable.

    It may seem improbable. Yet, it happened. My only reason for posting this on this site, it to tell my story. I have had several Apple employee's admit this email came from an Apple Employee at the very least, possible Mr. Jobs himself. ;

Regardless of me being called that word, the essence of the situation is this: An employee of Apple took my personal, private information, and exploited it to transmit hate language to a customer, (myself). It is scary to me that Apple employee's are not heeding to their own privacy agreements.

I suppose I am just one person, not a multi billion dollar corporation. I however know the difference between right and wrong. What happened to me is wrong. Plain wrong.

On the subject of showing email headers, sure. Tell me what email address you want them sent to. I have no problem sharing.

If Steve Jobs told you in an email "not to be a fag" and you can prove it, Jobs is pretty much done as Apple's CEO. If an Apple employee pretending to be Steve Jobs told you in an email "not to be a fag" and you can prove it, that employee will be hastily terminated by Apple.

Apple didn't get to be a massively successful company by causally slurring its customers, and certainly not by using extraordinarily charged, insanely impolitic language.

OTOH, I can't see why you'd be surprised that Steve Jobs or an Apple employee would have access to your email address and a record of your correspondence, or why you would regard those things as "personal, private information", since you did, in fact, correspond with them. The issue would be the language used by the employee, not that the employee has a record of your complaints.

If Apple is harboring a loon, your really should make sure they have any evidence at your disposal. I'm sure they'll be glad to be rid of such a liability.

I am not "surprised" by the access of my personal information. I get that. I am surprised by the unethical use of my information to harass me. I have provided Apple with all the proof they need to terminate the offender(s). The other pertinent point is me no long a victim, now "the public", will not be informed.

Perhaps I was raised to do the right thing whenever I can. If I mess up, (as we all do, we are human), to take responsibility. Most importantly,..DO EVERYTHING within my power to make reparations for my mistakes.

    Apparently, Apple wasn't raised right.

Apple's motto in my opinion: "Damage Control and Cost Containment is our number one priority.".

Steve himself is unhappy either. His employees are now getting used to drink his top-secret stuff away in pubs everywhere around Palo Alto, CA.

If you made yourself the money for your first Mac back then in days of dark blue clamshell iBooks, and if you now want my advise, let me tell you one thing. It's up to you to handle youngsters. And I mean to handle.

What was the point of you posting what I sent to Lady Gaga? Your profile says you are from London, here in the states, specifically in the state of Michigan, it is ILLEGAL for you to post my phone number on any website. Grow up my friend, you obviously have nothing better to do than google me. It shows by your over 800 posts on this website. Get a life.

So provide proof or shut up and go away. You've had nearly a week to do so.
