Connecting my macbook pro to a PS3

I recently got a Macbook pro and my PS3 use to be able to see my old pc but it doesn't see my new Macbook.



Is there any way to make it see so I can watch movies from my computer on my tv?

    I was talking about streaming sorry. I looked it up and it seems the only way to do so is by buying a program to allow you to as Apple doesn't like people messing with their stuff. Which is kind of lame.



    The PS3 kind of has a shitty operating system, guess I'll just plug my usb hd into the ps3 instead of streaming.
