Safari Update

Forgive me folks but new too Apple, In Safari I can find no button to click for "Check for updates" How do I update my old version instead of going to Apple.com and downloading the latest version....thanks for bearing with me.

    What operating system are you using?



    If you are using OS X, you update it through the Software Update application. Click the Apple logo (upper right screen corner, Software Upadate).



    If you are using Windows, you need to start the Apple Software Update application.

    Using Windows. Going to buy an Imac early next year but run Safari on my LT. Where is the Apple Update software App.? thanks

    Should just be in the Start menu under Programs.

    That Apple logo is of course in the upper LEFT screen corner!
