You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Verizon may be full of idiots, but so is every other telecom. The important thing is the idiots don't manage plan prices, they manage the company.
Verizon's iPhone plans will be identical to AT&Ts if they want ANYONE to use an iPhone on their network.
In Tallest Skil?s defense, he did mention the iPhone compared to the iPhone across carriers, not two different devices from different manufacturers. I don?t think they would make it identical, but they would probably pretty close, with some shady variances that make one carrier cheaper or more expensive depending on your particular usage pattern.
Regarding that link, I think it?s pretty crazy of Verizon not to match AT&T?s iPad pricing and setup with every tablet they sell. This is the one thing that makes the iPad so great. I purposely held out past the WiFi version specifically to get the 3G model for family members just in case they wanted to easily get access whilst traveling.
For those that haven?t tried it, you do everything from the iPad and it will connect with AT&T?s servers for the payment so you don?t need to first be on a WiFi network to setup your AT&T network. Also, it?s month-to-month with zero activation and canceling fees. Honestly, it couldn?t be easier. The only mark against it is AT&T discontinuing the Unlimited plan so quickly.

Sorry, I mean in a world where people are intelligent. I think the link agrees with my point of view if they call it "screwed up".
